The Carbon Offroad Mega Pro Winch Hook is the latest product from the design team at Carbon Offroad. Completely designed, engineered, FEA tested and finished in house by our team, we put all of our collective knowledge and experience together to build a simple, functional and cost effective winch hook which was specifically designed for winching activities.  This is not a hook that is out of the parts bin from the local lifting and rigging supplier, this hook is completely 100% made from scratch by our local design team and overseas manufacturing facility. We did the design, 3d printed the prototypes, tested form, function, fit and usage, FEA process to make the hook as strong as it could be while removing material where it wasn't required.  The I-beam hook construction is unique to the Mega Pro Hook. We cast the alloy gate to make it lightweight and durable. The hook is manufactured by a forging and heat treating process using 40cr material. This material is cost effective, easy to work with and responds well in forging and heat treatment processes. What results is an almost indestructible hook that will last a lifetime. We also then process the finish in a durable powdercoating process, similar to the process that your exterior aluminum windows in your house go through, this process is known for long term resistance to UV degradation and protection of the base material.  This hook can be stowed against the fairlead either flat on both side or on it's end, hook gate up, this gives you the ability to snap on a soft shackle or tree protector loop once handed and walk the rope out to the anchor point.  The mounting pin is a complete through pin design which is externally secured by a circlip making it simple and easy to mount to your winch rope.  We really tried hard here to make this hook to the highest standard at the best price possible so that you and you mates can access good gear for reasonable prices. We did this by committing to a proper design, development and manufacturing process that allows us to keep costs down and get product on the shelf in good quantities.  The hook is safe to use on any winch up to 20000lb.  The rubber pads on the hook are a press to fit arrangement. They have been designed to be removable so that once you have installed the hook, you can arange the logos in a fashion that suits your particular setup. The 10mm UHMWPE rope is rated at 15 tonnes minimum breaking strain and with a super heavy duty braided tight sheath over the core, this shackle is built to take some abuse.  Mininum Breaking Strain - 15000KG The oversized Monkey Fist knot will ensure that there is Zero chance of the shackle ever coming apart during a recovery.  The braided heavy duty sheath allows you to go straight through a regular recovery point. The Carbon Offroad TANK 15000lb electric winch is a force to be reckoned with.    A new generation of winches joins the Carbon Offroad offer. TANK is synonymous for indestructible, bulletproof and powerful, which is just what this winch is. TANK is also associated with heavy, which is something this winch is not!  We understand that building the ultimate offroad rig often requires a lot of time, effort and additional parts once it comes off the factory floor, and this all adds weight. The capability to self recover a vehicle is generally high on the list of priorities for most overlanding and touring journey people, as most of the time, solo travel is the reality. In the past, this generally required a winch with steel cable and a heavy steel bullbar to carry it, but in todays market, there are smarter options and this includes the winches. Yes you can still buy a cheap heavy winch made from castings of solid steel if you like that sort of thing, but technology has improved, materials have improved and this has led to a winch being designed and built like the TANK. Billet alloys machined on CNC mills, Alloy castings make up the gearbox housings and main frames of the winch, critical components such as the winch drum are still made from steel, but this winch also features an aesthetic quality that is almost unmatched in the market. Carbon Winches Australia - Winch control box wired remote mounted plug extension lead to suit July 2021-On winch - V2 and V3 THIS WILL ONLY SUIT V2/V3 WINCHES, IF UNSURE PLEASE CALL TO CHECK If you have hidden your control box inside your bullbar, or have a bumper replacement bullbar such as a GM Fab bar or Rhino bar and cannot easily access your control box to plug in the hand remote, use this product to remotely mount the plug, either on your bumper or inside your engine bay. Such a simple item makes plugging in your wired controller a breeze. One less stress when out on the track, as guaranteed, when the wired controller comes out, you will most likely be wanting to think about more important things like is my rig filling up with bog hole water as I try and plug this controller in!  Extension is approximately 1450mm long. 

Sick of reaching all the way underneath your rig to unlatch the winch hook from those recovery points located way underneath your bullbar? I know we got pretty sick of it! The winch utility hook is primarily designed to bolt into the fairlead bolt hole and provide a point for the winch hook to attach to which is easy to access and most of all, looks amazing on the front of your rig. For winches where the mounting bolt for the winch uses the same hole as the fairlead mount, you could simply mount this hook off to one side or wherever will work for your setup. Depending on the thickness of the material you are going through you could space out or simply grind the bottom part of the hook mount recess to suit allowing for a tight cinch up on the mounting point The beauty of this little hook is that it can also be used for an endless number of other uses around your rig as a standard hook for hanging items in a canopy or organising items on the back of a cargo barrier. This will suit most narrow standard style hooks on the market, not the wider style that sits flat agaisnt the fairlead.     The hook is made from high quality 6061 T6 alloy and is anodised in Carbon Maroon or Carbon Black. The Carbon Offroad 5M tree protector is a versatile bit of gear. Most of the cheaper brands on the market only offer a 3 metre long strap, and frankly they are useless! - Carbon Snatch Strap Recovery Rope Information The Carbon Offroad Snatch Strap should be a staple part of your recovery kit. Often the quickest and easiest way to remove a 4wd from being stuck it's an essential item in any kit. Pro-Tip, it's often easier to snatch a vehicle out the same way they got stuck in, rather than trying to continue pulling them through an obstacle. A snatch strap is a piece of equipment used to help in the recovery of vehicles bogged in sand or mud. The Carbon Snatch straps are manufactured from Nylon webbing that is capable of approximately 20% stretch under load. This stretching property allows the strap to store kinetic energy, which is used to recover vehicles from being stuck. This is a must have for any 4wd beach goer and the two soft shackles make it easier to attach the snatch strap to both the vehicles. The Carbon Offroad Winch Extension Strap is an important winch accessory. You've probably come across plenty of times where that tree or anchor is just a little bit too far away. It's also handy to reduce the distance of an anchor if doing a double line pull. The Carbon Offroad TANK 20000lb electric winch is a force to be reckoned with.    A new generation of winches joins the Carbon Offroad line up. TANK is synonymous for indestructible, bulletproof and powerful, which is just what this winch is. TANK is also associated with heavy, which is something this winch is not!  We understand that building the ultimate offroad rig often requires a lot of time, effort and additional parts once it comes off the factory floor, and this all adds weight. The capability to self recover a vehicle is generally high on the list of priorities for most overlanding and touring journey people, as most of the time, solo travel is the reality. In the past, this generally required a winch with steel cable and a heavy steel bullbar to carry it, but in todays market, there are smarter options and this includes the winches. Yes you can still buy a cheap heavy winch made from castings of solid steel if you like that sort of thing, but technology has improved, materials have improved and this has led to a winch being designed and built like the TANK. The Carbon Offroad Monkey Fist Winch Extension Rope is an important winch accessory. You've probably come across plenty of times where that tree or anchor is just a little bit too far away. It's also handy to reduce the distance of an anchor if doing a double line pull. Stop cutting your hands up on old winch hooks with nasty spring gates, this winch thimble offers a user friendly experience when it comes to setting up a winch recovery.  Rating 10,000KG H/D 22mm Stainless Steel Pin The thimble is simply pulled into the fairlead for storage, it is perfectly sized to grab hold of with one hand, leaving the other hand free to help scramble up a hill, or connect up a shackle.  With a 6061 T6 Alloy CNC machined section of billet alloy, this is one sexy bit of gear. Make a statement, get rid of your old hook and get this functional piece of winching gear on your rig. It is Type 3 hard anodised to Milspec requirements allowing your investment in good gear to last through the course of time in our harsh Australian conditions.  The attachment point is compatible with synthetic rope soft shackles and also 4.25T steel bow shackles. This is a plug extension kit for the Carbon Tank series. The plug is a flush mount design and is plug and play into the Tank Series control box across the 12000, 15000 and 20000lb winches. The plug is waterproof so there is no issue for a permanent mount solution. There is a separate right angle mounting bracket available which can be used for an in engine bay mounting solution off the inside guard panel for example.

This winch rope is a UHMWPE braided core with polyester outer braid sheath for abrasion protection and UV resistance. As well as looking awesome this rope is very nice to handle, similar construction to climbing rope but using the light and strong UHMWPE rope fibre core to provide the additional strength required for winching activities. This rope is a great upgrade for any 4x4 winch for most models it will simply bolt into the existing lug where the steel cable is connected to the drum.
